Perkins Joins Tulsa Mayor Race

TULSA, OK - A Tulsa attorney joins the race for Tulsa Mayor.  Mark Perkins kicked off his campaign with the slogan "Let Go of Status Quo" on Tuesday.

It is something he says even he had to do when he heard about Tulsa's top job.

"Didn't plan on getting into politics, but I didn't see anybody jumping in that I could endorse or get excited about so I decided that it had to be me," said Mark Perkins.

Perkins was born and raised in Tulsa and says he has big plans for his home town.
