UNDATED -- There is a total solar eclipse on Wednesday, but you won't be able to see the event in Oklahoma or anywhere else in the U.S.
A total solar eclipse is when the Moon has totally obscured the Sun's disk, producing the beautiful solar corona ejecting outward from the Sun.
Wednesday's eclipse can be seen in India, Southeast Asia and China.
The next time a total solar eclipse will be seen in Oklahoma and the rest of the U.S. will be August 21, 2017.
