Possible Plans For WNBA In Tulsa, Announcement Coming

TULSA, OK -- The president of the WNBA is expected to be in Tulsa Wednesday and a special announcement will be made.  

It's not certain what that announcement will be, but there is discussion on the possibility of the league bringing a team to Tulsa.

According to Tulsa Business Journal, investors and community leaders from Tulsa and Oklahoma City will officially announce their goal of bringing a WNBA franchise to Tulsa.

On Friday, an e-mail was sent to BOK Premium Seat Holders.
