Suspected Tulsa Firefighter Impersonator Arrested

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa County investigators have arrested a man who they say impersonated a firefighter at the scene of a deadly accident.

They say Joel Lack claimed he was an off-duty Tulsa firefighter when he arrived at the scene on June 9th when two bicyclists were killed by a car near Sand Springs.

Lack is charged with impersonating a firefighter, interfering with an EMT and grand larceny for trying to take medical equipment and drugs.

Records show Lack has never been a Tulsa firefighter.
