Happy Homecoming In Tulsa For US Army Specialist

TULSA, OK -- There was a happy homecoming at Tulsa International Airport Monday afternoon.

Army Specialist John Ross is home on leave from Iraq. He's six months into a year tour. Ross is part of a patrol squad out of Texas and said he's already seeing changes in the country.

"It's finishing up, but there will always be work to be done. But the Iraqis are taking over pretty good. They're doing alright, seeing a good change," said Spec. John Ross, US Army.

Ross says it's the little things at home that he has missed the most. That, and his mom's cooking.
