TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa mayoral race is heating up as the election filing period begins Monday. Candidates for all Tulsa municipal races have three days to make their intentions known. With current Mayor Kathy Taylor withdrawing from the picture, it's anyone's ballgame come election day November 10.
In addition to the city's top leadership position, the ballot will include nine City Council districts and the city auditor post.

Expected to be in the running:
Democrats
Tom Adelson - Adelson is the current Oklahoma State Senator for District 33. An attorney by profession, he has filled the senate seat since 2004. More on Adelson.
Paul Tay - A controversial perinnial candidate and bicycling advocate, Paul Tay has been running for numerous offices since 2002. More on Tay.
Republicans
Dewey Bartlett, Jr. - A Tulsa businessman and former City Councilor, Bartlett ran for the mayor's office in 1992. He is the president of Tulsa-based Keener Oil. More on Bartlett.
Kevin Boggs - Boggs has been employed by Federal Express for 22 years. He ran for City Council in 2008. More about Boggs.
Chris Medlock - Medlock served as a Tulsa City Councilor and ran for mayor in 2006. Medlock has hosted a conservative talk show. More on Medlock.
Norris Streetman - Streetman is a local realtor. More on Streetman.
With the filing period running through Wednesday, July 15th, these and other possible candidates are expected to run for the city's top office.
The running field will be shortened in the primary election scheduled for September 8.
