TULSA, OK -- Officers with the Tulsa Fugitive Warrants Squad arrested a third suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of 14-year-old Tevon Mathies.
Anthony Ahaisse, 19, was arrested at 10:00 Thursday night on a complaint of first degree murder and five counts of shooting with intent to kill.
A warrant for Ahaisse's arrest was issued Thursday morning.
A Crime Stoppers tip helped lead to the arrest, officers say. The tip took officers to Seminole. Through several interviews, officers learned Ahaisse had left for Stillwater, but was on his way back to Tulsa.
Ahaisse was arrested in the area of 4100 East 15th Street.
Police say Tevon Mathies of Missouri was shot Wednesday, July 1 at 10887 East 33rd Street.
When officers got to the scene, they discovered Mathies had a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Mathies died at the scene as a result of the gunshot injury, police say.
Tulsa police have made two other arrests in this case -- Tyler Ross Deerinwater, 18, and 20-year-old Jeffrey Proctor. Both were arrested on a complaint of first degree murder.
