TULSA, OK -- Many drivers are finding construction confusion around a road project on Tulsa's Inner Dispersal Loop. It didn't help on Tuesday when ODOT pushed back the start of heavy construction by a week. The lane closures that were planned for July 13th will now start July 20th.
Many people don't understand what's going to close and how they can get through the construction zone. The road signs are part of the problem.

Right now the electronic signs just say West Bound I-244 closed, but not where exactly it's going to close or what to do about a detour. ODOT still has more signs going up that will get more specific as the day comes closer.
For Cindy Manning out in Sand Springs, it's just not enough to plan her commute.
"You catch one screen at this mile, go another two miles and you might catch the next part, and those maps on the ODOT screens, they're ambiguous. They don't say where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do," said delivery coordinator Cindy Manning.
The north and west legs of the IDL will close down in one direction west and south on July 20th. So, you will not be able to drive counter clockwise on the IDL on those two stretches. You can drive the other direction.
