Tulsa County And City Reach Jail Agreement

TULSA, OK -- The City of Tulsa and Tulsa County come to an agreement about the Tulsa Jail.  After months of negotiations, Tulsa County Commissioners signed off on the five-year deal on Monday.

Under the agreement, the City of Tulsa will pay the county $45 per inmate per day to house municipal inmates.  The rate goes up by about $9 after the first 35 city inmates.
