Hot Weather And Water Line Breaks

TULSA, OK -- This week's high temperatures are putting a real strain on water lines in Tulsa.

A water main broke early Friday morning just west of 21st and Memorial.

City of Tulsa utility crews are still working to repair the 12-inch line.

Traffic is getting through on 21st Street, but it's down to one lane in each direction.

The utility crew on the scene was originally going to a smaller water line break, when they got called out to work on the break on 21st Street.
