TPD: Shooting Victim Dies At Hospital

TULSA, OK -- A man, who police say was shot several times in the chest Saturday night, has died.

The victim, 24-year-old Anthony Whitaker, was shot at about 10:00 p.m. in the 100 block of South 34th West Avenue.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the man was transported in critical condition and later died at a Tulsa hospital.

Officers have interviewed a number of witnesses and say the shooting started as a domestic dispute.

The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

Police are searching for a person of interest. They say they would like to talk with Antonio Jones.
