Tulsa Teen Shot In The Legs Overnight

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa teenager is recovering in a Tulsa hospital after she was shot in both legs overnight.

Tulsa Police say the shooting happened at the Seminole Hills Apartments in the 2000 block of North Trenton around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

At first, the 16-year old victim told Tulsa Police someone passing by had shot her.  But the investigation shows someone in the apartment had a gun and when she told them to put it down, the gun went off hitting her with birdshot.

Tulsa Police are still investigating.
