Broken Arrow Fire Union Supports Chief

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The Broken Arrow firefighters union is publicly supporting its fire chief.

Union members overwhelmingly gave their support to Fire Chief Jackie Carner Tuesday night.

On June 1, Carner was placed on administrative leave with pay for allegations of undisclosed violations of city policy.

City officials say Carner was not put on leave for any criminal actions.

A hearing to discuss the matter is set for June 17th.
