Accident Shuts Down Busy Tulsa Street

TULSA, OK -- A traffic accident at 56th and Riverside Drive shut down traffic in both directions on Riverside Drive for about an hour Monday morning.  

Tulsa Police say a minivan was pulling out onto Riverside Drive from 56th Street South, when a northbound car hit the van. 

Police say the car was driving at a high speed at the time of the accident. Both drivers were taken by EMSA to Tulsa hospitals. 

Tulsa Police continue to investigate the accident.
