Body Discovered In Oologah Lake

TULSA, OK -- The sheriff of Rogers County says a man's body has been discovered in Oologah Lake.

Sheriff Scott Walton told The News On 6 Thursday afternoon that investigators believe the body is that of Paul Jones from Talala.

Jones, 47, and his girlfriend, 56-year-old Carol Crosby, were last seen Sunday when they launched their 14-foot aluminum boat at Allen's Point.

The search is still on for Crosby.

The Oklahoma Lake Patrol found the couple's boat Thursday morning.

It was in some brush on the east side of the lake about three miles north of the ramp where it had been launched.

Sheriff Walton said the man's body was found about a mile from where the boat was discovered.
