PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK -- Two people are in jail Wednesday, accused of starving three horses.

A Pittsburg County Sheriff's deputy found the horses while he was serving an arrest warrant on another charge at a home in Ashland.

Cheryll Alloy and Donald Gray were arrested on complaints of cruelty to animals.

Alloy told investigators she had been treating the horses for Rhino virus, but a veterinarian says the horses are suffering from malnutrition and don't have the virus.
