McIntosh County Sheriff Steps Down

EUFAULA, OK -- There is new information about the federal investigation into the McIntosh County Sheriff's Office.  Two-term Sheriff Terry Jones resigned on Tuesday.

Jones and McIntosh County Undersheriff Mykol Brookshire were charged with a federal misdemeanor last Friday.

The two are accused of taking a driver's cash during a traffic stop and pocketing the money.

So far, Brookshire has not resigned.
