Small Plane Crashes In Skiatook

SKIATOOK, OK -- A small sky-diving plane crashed in a field Saturday in Skiatook.

The crash occurred about 3 p.m. near Skiatook High School in the area of West Fourth Street and Bulldog Boulevard, police say.

The plane lost power shortly after take-off, and the pilot tried to land it in the field. On the way down, it struck some trees and power lines.

The six people on board suffered minor injuries.
