TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa church is using art to share the gospel. Saint Antony's Orthodox Christian Church is installing 10-foot mosaics of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John on the outside wall of their building near 6th and Lewis.
So far, the mosaics of Mark and Luke are in place. Crews are still working on the other two. Saint Antony's has been planning for the mosaics for several years.
"Here's the gospel, now welcome to come in, into the temple and to worship and to see the results of that, of that gospel message," said St. Antony's Farther George Eber.
Orthodox churches traditionally have mosaics or frescos on the outside of their buildings.
