BEGGS, OK -- The town of Beggs honored a pint-sized hero on Tuesday.
Clay Fisher, 10, and his 8-year-old brother Nate were at their home burning trash on Easter. The flames got out of control and Nate's clothes caught fire. That's when his big brother remembered the stop, drop and roll lesson from school.
"I'm just glad I was there, because I was going to go down there and feed the dogs and leave him there to do the fire, and he wanted me to stay down there with him and so I said okay and if I wasn't down there then he would have died. So, I think that was just a miracle," said Clay Fisher.
Beggs School held a ceremony in Clay's honor for his bravery and quick thinking that saved his brother's life.
