TULSA, OK -- Two accidents overnight Monday in Tulsa sent two people to Tulsa hospitals.
One person is in serious condition after his truck hit a sign off Interstate-44.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver was westbound on the Interstate highway near 129th East Avenue when he left the roadway, got outside a retaining wall and slammed into a post of an overhead sign.
The victim was trapped until rescuers used the Jaws of Life to get him out.
His name has not been released.
And a Tulsa man was hospitalized after flipping his car on an off ramp to U.S. Highway 75.
Tulsa Police say the accident happened at the 36th Street North exit when an officer spotted the car about 30 yards off the road.
Rescuers determined the man is diabetic and he may have lost consciousness, causing the wreck.
There's no word on his condition.
