A Claremore woman has died after a crash that occurred while she was turning out of a driveway and onto a Rogers County road.

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) -- A Claremore woman has died after a crash that occurred while she was turning out of a driveway and onto a Rogers County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Althea Sammons died Thursday night when a pickup truck slammed into her car as she tried to make a left turn.

The highway patrol says Sammons was not wearing a seat belt and her airbag did not deploy in the crash just before 7 p.m.
