SALLISAW, OK -- Sequoyah County has become Oklahoma's latest county to approve liquor by the drink.
Voters on Tuesday approved the measure 2,163 yes votes to 1,884 no votes.

The last time Sequoyah County voted on a liquor-by-the-drink proposition was February 1990.
With Tuesday's election, 51 of Oklahoma's 77 counties have begun serving liquor by the drink since it was legalized in Oklahoma in 1985.
