Tulsa Accused Child Rapist Back In Court

TULSA, OK -- Brandon Brixey, an accused child rapist, was back in court Monday for another competency hearing, this time in front of a jury.

Brixey is accused of carjacking a van, then raping one of the children inside.

The court had originally found him incompetent to stand trial, but after spending time in state treatment, a judge declared him competent.

Brixey's family filed a civil case asking a jury to decide instead. That hearing continues Tuesday.
