Military Honors Tulsa Community College

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Community College receives an honor for helping our men and women in uniform.

The military presented TCC with the Employer Support to Guard and Reserves Award on Thursday.  It honors employers who go above and beyond just holding a person's job until they return from duty.

"We continue to stay in contact throughout the time that they're away and just assure them we're doing what we can here to keep their department or area running and that they don't have any worries here," said TCC President Dr. Tom McKeon.

TCC has five employees serving in the military, including one who's currently deployed.
