WICHITA, KS -- Airplane manufacturer Cessna has released new details about upcoming job cuts.
The company says 2,300 workers will be laid off worldwide, with 1,300 of those jobs in Wichita.
More than 1,500 workers have already been laid off since the cuts were announced in March.

Cessna says employees will have their two week furlough this summer extended to four weeks.
The company has already cut 4,600 jobs since November.
In addition, Cessna also plans to shutter a plant in Oregon.
Cessna has a manufacturing facility in Independence, Kansas.
