Tulsa's Homicide Count Goes Up By One

TULSA, OK -- A man shot in the chest during a fight late Tuesday evening has become Tulsa's 21st homicide of the year. 

Tulsa Police officers say Darren Olinger and Roger Humble had been drinking and got into a fight near Admiral and Wheeling.   

They say that is when Olinger pulled out a hand gun and shot Humble in the chest.

Humble was taken to a Tulsa hospital.

Tulsa Police say Humble was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning. 

Olinger surrendered to Tulsa Police and is in the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
