PICHER, OK -- Next month's graduation will be the last for Picher-Cardin Public Schools. The Oklahoma State Board of Education finalized plans on Thursday to close the district.
The town voted earlier this month to close and consolidate with nearby Quapaw and Commerce schools.
Picher started the school year with just 51 students 10 of those are seniors.
