Hats Off to Mom at the Tulsa Drillers

Mother's Day at the Ballpark

Mother's Day is coming up May 10^th and most people will celebrate by going out to eat. I have a better idea... take mom to the ballpark! I know that sounds crazy but the Tulsa Drillers is hosting "Hats Off to Mom" day and you and the family are invited to attend.

The first 500 moms into the stadium will receive a pink baseball cap. The players will pull out the pink jerseys to honor mom and raise some money to fight breast cancer. The game jerseys will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the game with all the proceeds going to the Tulsa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The local affiliate grants money to area programs to help women who are going through breast cancer. Some of the money raised also goes to research to help find a cure!

The Drillers will play Northwest Arkansas at 2:05 on that Sunday afternoon and it should be a great time! I'll sing the National Anthem and folks with Komen Tulsa will be on hand as well. For more information you can go to www.tulsadrillers.com
