Sapulpa Woman Dies In Accident

SAPULPA, OK -- A Sapulpa woman is dead after rolling her car off a road in Creek County Tuesday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 31-year-old Christina Varner was eastbound on 81st Street South near state Highway 97.

Troopers say she came over a hill and left the roadway causing the car to flip more than once. Varner was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

A 4-year-old boy in the car was in a child restraint seat at the time of the accident.

He was taken to a Tulsa hospital with arm injuries, but has been released.
