TULSA, OK -- A larger-than-life reminder of what Easter is all about visited ORU on Sunday afternoon.
A 16-foot bronze depiction of the crucifixion was on display in the Mabee Center's parking lot. It was created by Broken Arrow sculptor Brenda Copeland.
She says a dream inspired her to create it, and it took 16 years to complete.
"I was not an artist," Copeland said. "I didn't even know where to buy clay. When I found clay, I started working, and this is it."
The sculpture was first unveiled last June.
