Extreme Tornado Chasers In Bartlesville

BARTLESVILLE, OK -- A group of extreme storm chasers are in Bartlesville on Thursday in hopes of capturing tornado video.

A crew with TornadoVideos.net brought its tornado radar vehicle, Dominator. The car is wrapped in armor to protect its occupants from flying debris.

The goal of the car is not to drive into a tornado but to get close enough to the funnel to measure velocities around the tornado, according to the group's Web site.
