Tulsa Elementary Students Surpass Reading Goal

The principal and assistant principal at Skelly Elementary did a hula dance in grass skirts in return for the students' efforts.

TULSA, OK -- Some Skelly Elementary students got a taste of the tropics Thursday because they reached their reading goal of 700,000 minutes.

In return, Skelly's principal and assistant principal did a hula dance in grass skirts.

Not only did the students reach their goal, but they also surpassed it, reading more than 889,000 minutes.
