TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa school is working to expand. San Miguel Catholic Lasallin Middle School, near Admiral and Lewis, is hoping to raise $4 million to build new classrooms.
The school has already raised $600,000 for the project. The school caters to disadvantaged children from low income families.
Teachers and volunteers at San Miguel say 84% of the children who attend the school graduate from college later in life.
