Tulsa Police Chase Ends With Arrest

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa Police chase overnight ends with a suspect being tasered.

The incident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. Friday when a police officer tried to pull over a pickup truck.

The driver of the truck sped up and didn't stop until he pulled up at his home in the 500 block of North Tacoma.

Police say the driver got out of the truck carrying a loaded 44-magnum revolver.

The police officer tasered the suspect to subdue him. Police say he was wasn't hurt and he was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, eluding and possession of a firearm.

A shotgun was also found inside the man's pickup truck.
