TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man has been given life with parole after being found guilty in a March 2008 homicide.
Jurors deliberated for about three hours Wednesday before convicting DeMario Adams, 21, of first-degree murder.
Formal sentencing was set for March 26.
Juan Rodriguez, 19, was found shot several times in a parking lot at the Edenwood Apartments and died at the hospital.
Adams was charged several days later but eluded police for two months before being arrested by an officer conducted a pedestrian check. He was also wanted on a warrant for shooting with intent to kill, but that charge was dismissed.
