Grass Fire Ignites Near Tulsa Construction Site

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa firefighters are keeping an eye on hot spots from a grass fire near 91st & Garnett.

The fire burned near a construction site Wednesday afternoon.

A crane actually caught fire, but it's not clear what sparked the blaze.

Smoke forced some cars to turn around, while others decided to drive right through it.

There was concern the smoke might get into the ventilation of nearby Saint Francis Hospital, but firefighters put out the fire before that became an issue.
