TULSA, OK -- The President of Oklahoma State University in Tulsa is stepping down.
Gary Trennepohl says he plans to return to a full-time faculty position at the school. He is a professor of finance at OSU who holds the President's Council endowed chair. He teaches courses in investment management or derivatives each year at OSU-Tulsa.
Trennepohl has been the president at OSU-Tulsa for nearly ten years and says it's time for new leadership with fresh ideas and perspectives.
"Serving as president has been a rewarding experience and I appreciate all the support I have received from the OSU-Tulsa team and the Tulsa community," Trennepohl said. "I know even greater days are ahead for OSU-Tulsa."
The OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees says they will immediately initiate the process to form a search committee.
