TWIN HILLS, OK -- After a devastating fire, teachers at Twin Hills got a big surprise in their first week back.
A Broken Arrow teacher collected boxes of books and delivered them to the school today.
Melissa Armstrong says as a first grade teacher, she knew what other first grade teachers would need.
She called all her friends asking for donations.
"My 7-year-old daughter said, ‘Mommy, what are we gonna do about that?' She said, ‘We could give 'em some of my ballet books," Armstrong said.
The 100-year-old building went up in flames two weeks ago today. It housed the district's offices plus pre-kindergarten through second-grade classrooms.
