TULSA, OK -- The Greater Tulsa Home and Garden Show opened Thursday at the Tulsa fairgrounds.

The show, sponsored by the Tulsa Homebuilders Association, is the largest in the region, featuring more than 450 exhibitions. It runs through Sunday.

This year's event is one of the biggest in the show's 59-year history and has about 475 booths, said Paul Kane, CEO of the Homebuilders Association.

Special features include a traveling King Tut exhibit with more than 250 museum-quality replica artifacts and a giant freestanding structure made entirely from 15,000 playing cards.

The show is at the QuikTrip Center at Expo Square, 21^st Street and Pittsburg Avenue. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and children under 12 are free with a paid adult.

On-site child care is provided during show hours. A free shuttle runs Saturday and Sunday from Hale High School, 6960 E. 21^st St.

Show schedule

Thursday: 5 to 9 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
