UNDATED -- The results from the Centers for Disease Control are in regarding water wells in Locust Grove. The CDC found no traces of E. coli 0111.

That was the strain of the E. coli bacteria identified as the source of an outbreak last summer connected to the Country Cottage Restaurant.
The outbreak killed one man and sickened 300 others last summer.
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality tested private wells in the area on a voluntary basis after concerns were raised about the quality of the water.
The CDC tests did find other types of E. coli bacteria that could cause illness.
