Tulsa Police Look For Stabbing Suspect

TULSA, OK -- One man is in a Tulsa hospital after a stabbing in east Tulsa overnight.

Police were called to a domestic violence dispute a little after 10 p.m. Sunday night.

Tulsa Police officers say a man and his girlfriend were visiting relatives when they got into a fight. The couple went out to the driveway when police say the girlfriend stabbed the man three or four times in the chest and back.

Police say after the stabbing, the girlfriend jumped in her car and drove off.

At last word, Tulsa Police were still looking for her.

"She is still on the loose. We have officers checking for that green four door Toyota. It was last seen leaving the scene here on 1st Street going west bound and so we have officers searching the area," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Mark Watson.

Police say they're still not sure exactly what happened between the couple.

Officers say the man lost a lot of blood but is expected to survive.
