TULSA, OK -- The Great Train Expo is in town this weekend.
The event is the nation's largest traveling model railroad show with hundreds of dealers, workshops and demonstrations and local clubs that can teach about the railroads in the area.
"Our model railroad here is all Tulsa area and Oklahoma scenes," said Marc Montary of Northeast Oklahoma N-Scalers. "We've got oil refineries, we've got the blue whale from Catoosa and we bring these scenes to life and let people see what railroading was like and what it still is these days."
The Great Train Expo is at the Convention Center downtown. It's open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults, and kids under 12 get in free.
