OKLAHOMA CITY -- Another deadly house fire has claimed a victim in southwest Oklahoma City.
Battalion Fire Chief Chris Jackson says a 90-year-old woman died early Saturday morning after a house fire at a home on Southwest 35th Street.
Firefighters were called to the home about 4:30 a.m. and found the house heavily engulfed in flames. The woman's body was pulled from the rear of the home, near a back door, but Jackson says firefighters were unable to resuscitate the woman.
Jackson says no smoke alarm was found in the home, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
A house fire early Friday morning, also in southwest Oklahoma City, killed a man and his two young daughters.
