Woman Shot And Killed, 12-year-old Son In Custody

MORRISON, OK -- The investigation continues into the shooting death of a Morrison woman.

The Noble County Sheriff's Office was called on Wednesday morning after the woman was found shot inside her home.  When deputies arrived, they found 38-year-old Shannon Renfro with a gunshot wound to her stomach.

She was transported to a Stillwater hospital where she died.  Renfro's 12-year-old son was taken into custody and placed at a secure juvenile facility.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
