Popular Cartoonist Visits Tulsa High School

TULSA, OK -- A popular cartoonist paid a visit to Tulsa on Monday. Dan Piraro is the man behind the syndicated cartoon Bizzaro.

He spent Monday morning at Booker T. Washington High School talking with kids and showing off his cartoons.

Piraro is a Booker T. graduate and makes the trip back to Tulsa every couple of years.

He said he just wants to make the kids laugh and encourage them to believe in themselves.

"I like to inspire kids to think differently, to think outside of the norm, around corners. It's part of what my cartoon is about," said Dan Piraro.
