WAGONER, OK -- A Broken Arrow teenager has been arrested on a first-degree manslaughter complaint in the December beating death of a Muskogee man.
Wagoner County officials say 17-year-old Gage Broom was booked into the Wagoner County jail about 7:30 p.m. Friday. He's being held on $100,000 bond.
Broom was arrested in the beating death of 27-year-old Justin Childress, whose battered body was discovered Dec. 5 near his sister's home outside Broken Arrow.
Wagoner County sheriff's investigator Bob Haley says Broom is scheduled for a court appearance Monday.
