TULSA, OK -- A man is in custody after Tulsa Police say he drove his SUV over a motorcyclist on a Tulsa street early Thursday morning.
The accident happened shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday near 14th and Utica.
Police officers say the driver of the Mercedes ran into the motorcycle, pinning the bike under his vehicle. The rider and the bike were dragged about 200 feet.
Police say the motorcyclist was not hurt and managed to walk away from the accident.
Police say the driver of the SUV was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
And in an unrelated accident, a Sperry man is in a Tulsa hospital after an accident overnight.
Authorities say 26-year-old Robert Sisk was eastbound on 96th Street North when his pickup truck ran off the road.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to hit a telephone junction box and several trees. The pickup truck then flipped onto its side, partially ejecting the driver.
Sisk is listed in stable condition at a Tulsa hospital.
