OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma House of Representatives is working to promote alternative energy and "green" jobs.
Measures approved in a House panel Tuesday would qualify companies involved in the wind energy industry for the state's Quality Jobs Program.
They would also authorize the Department of Central Services to build compressed natural gas fueling stations.
The incentives are meant to encourage companies to create new, well-paying jobs and offer health insurance for their employees.
