PARK HILL, OK -- A boil order has been issued for residents of a mobile home park in Cherokee County after the discovery of E. coli bacteria.
The Department of Environmental Quality issued the order Friday for Suburban Mobile Home Park in Park Hill.
To ensure the water is safe for human consumption, DEQ urged residents to vigorously boil water from the system for one minute before drinking, use in food preparation, washing dishes or brushing teeth.
This advisory will remain in effect until the water system provides adequate samples and those samples indicate the water is free from E. coli.
